Restoring the Neck’s Range of Motion | Chiropractor for Neck Pain in Fishers, IN
One of the most common symptoms that we see in our clinic is neck pain.
The Neck’s Range of Motion
So an easy way to check for neck pain is to check for range of motion. What I want you to do is to go ahead and flex your head forward for me towards the chest. Good. Then I want you to extend back. You’ll notice as she turns to her right this way, and then to the left this way, any reduced range of motion, like to her right, was reduced. We can feel the posterior part of the spine in the neck and if there is a shift out of alignment in that vertebra, that is called a subluxation. And range of motion is one of the number one things that will change the subluxation.
A simple chiropractic adjustment, if that’s the root cause, range of motion will come right back!
